Arielle is originally from Wilmington, MA. She attended Boston College and majored in Biochemistry, with a minor in dance. At NYU she was a co-president of the surgery club, a course liaison, and volunteers at the NYC Free Clinic. She was also involved in breast cancer research looking at modifiable risk factors at the NYU Cancer Center. Arielle matched in General Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Ilina is from Denver, Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she majored in Biochemistry and Physiology. She is president of the Class of 2013, enjoyed volunteering for the NYC Free Clinic, and conducted research on Women's Cancer in Southern India as part of the International Health Program here at NYU. Ilina matched in Ob/Gyn at the Women and Infants’ Hospital at Brown University.

James is from Washington D.C. He attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where he majored in Physiology and Neurobiology. At NYU, James was named as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow, and conducted bariatric surgery research for the Department of Surgery, as well as osteoarthritis research for the Division of Rheumatology at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. James is also an MCAT instructor for Kaplan, and has taught and tutored the MCAT for over 5 years. James matched in orthopedic surgery at NYU.

Melissa is from Seaford, NY. She graduated from New York University in 2009 where she majored in Biochemistry with a minor in Economics. At NYUSOM, she is a member of Student Council and served as the Student Senator. She was also a co-president of both the Surgery and Running clubs. Melissa matched in pediatrics at UCSF.

Jennifer Mulliken

Jennifer was raised in Boca Raton, FL. After graduating from Dartmouth in 2004 with a degree in Art History, she worked for a year as a Curatorial Assistant at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA. In 2006 Jennifer received a Master’s degree in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, where she specialized in ancient Greek and Roman art. She then decided to switch career paths entirely and pursue a childhood dream to become a physician. After completing a post-bac program at the University of Virginia, she came to NYU, where she is a member of Student Council. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys cooking, traveling, museums, and scuba diving (when time and money allow). Jennifer matched in internal medicine at NYU.

Daniel is from Freeport, NY. He attended Harvard University, where he studied Chemical and Physical Biology. At NYU he is a social chair for the Black and Latino Students Association (BALSA) and also serves as the MD/PhD representative on the Office of Diversity Affairs' Advisory Board.

Brandon grew up in Tarpon Springs, FL. He attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL where he earned a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Finance. At NYU, he is active in many organizations, including being a class officer on Student Council. Outside of school he enjoys living and relaxing in New York City and college football every Saturday cheering on the 'Canes! Brandon matched in emergency medicine at NYU.

Daniela is from Maracaibo, Venezuela and attended the University of Florida where she majored in Food Science and Human Nutrition. At NYU, Daniela has been involved in the BELLE Project, a research initiative to help promote child development among the community's disadvantaged Latino population. As Community Service Chair for the Black and Latino Student Association, Daniela also spearheaded an initiative for students to provide free health screenings and nutritional counseling at the weekly Bellevue Farmer's Market. Daniela matched in internal medicine at the Brigham and Women Hospital.

Tara grew up in Walnut Creek, California. She attended Dickinson College where she was a double major in both Biology and Sociology. During her time off before attending NYU, she received her Masters in Public Health from Tufts University and managed a clinical trial focusing on Breast Cancer related Lymphedema at Massachusetts General Hospital. At NYU she was involved in the Oncology Club, Course Liaisons (curriculum advisory group) and continues to do research at MGH and the Hospital for Joint Diseases. Tara matched in general surgery at UCLA.

Natalie Smith

Natalie grew up in Westchester, NY and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 where she majored in Cell and Molecular Biology. At NYU SOM she has been a leader in multiple student teaching groups, including Health Education and Literacy Project (HELP) and Brothers and Sisters in Science (BASIS). She taught anatomy to foreign medical students as a part of the summer anatomy fellowship between 1st and 2nd year of school. She was president of the Internal Medicine Interest Group in 2010, was a member of the 2014 Orientation Committee and currently co-teaches the Practice of Medicine course to 1st and 2nd year students. She also did research in pediatric echocardiography. Outside of school, she loves taking advantage of living in Manhattan and of course, cheers for the Wolverines every Saturday! Natalie matched in anesthesiology at Mount Sinai.

Ainah is from Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Economics and Biology. At NYU she was the Executive Clinical Coordinator of the New York City Free Clinic and previously served as the Co-Director/Director of Development of the free clinic. She was also the Treasurer of NYU School of Medicine's chapter of AMSA (American Medical Student Association). Ainah has been involved in dermatology research and in her spare time she enjoys the restaurants, arts and culture of New York City. Ainah matched in dermatology at Northwestern University.
