The NYU School of Medicine Ambassador Program is a student-run leadership initiative through which interactions with future, current, and past students will improve communication about life and education at NYUSOM.
Medical students representing each class at NYUSOM who are passionate and determined to improve the medical school admissions process and the applicants’ experiences.
A noticed need for greater communication between current and prospective/past students as well as an importance in having new and insightful student input in the admissions process.
In serving as the collective "voice" of the school to reach out to applicants and alumni, enabling them to gather current information from an accurate and experienced source through face-to-face contact and online resources such as a student forum. Not only will Ambassadors be involved in communication with prospective students, they will also be given the opportunity to actively participate in the admissions process and represent NYU in a variety a ways such as planning Revisit Day and Alumni Weekend.
